Mr. L.L. "Lee" Bird
Meet our Level III

Lee Bird has held positions as welder, (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW), pipefitter and machinist.

Lee has been teaching and speaking publicly since 1974.
-
Since 1982 he has been performing NDT relative to the natural gas pipeline and compressor industry.
-
Since 1994 Lee has been teaching Level I and II NDT courses.
-
In 1998 Lee opened B-TEC, LLC.
-
He has also been involved with PC based Engine Compressor Analysis. Lee holds Corporate Level III certifications in MT, PT, and UT, API 510 Pressure Vessel, 570 Piping Inspector 653. Above ground storage tank inspector, and Level III instructor (EPRI).
